Gundagai Out of School Hours Care
The aim of the Out Of School Hours care service is to provide a variety of supervised play and recreational activities accessible to all primary aged children and in doing so enable parents/guardians to work, study, train or undertake other activities, in the knowledge their children are being cared for in a safe and happy environment.
An OOSH sub-committee which includes parents of children and Neighbourhood Centre staff and Management plan the direction of the service. New parents are encouraged to join this committee.
YOU DO NOT HAVE TO BE WORKING FOR YOUR CHILD TO ATTEND THESE SERVICES although priority will be given to working families
The centre is a Registered Child Carer so subsidies are available through the Family Assistance Office Child Care Benefit (CCB).
