Community Technology Centre
The Gundagai CTC offers the community essential technological services such as public internet and e-mail access, printing, scanning, laminating, word-processing and other office services.
OOSH
The aim of the Out Of School Hours care service is to provide a variety of supervised play and recreational activities accessible to all primary aged children and in doing so enable parents/guardians to work, study, train or undertake other activities, in the knowledge their children are being cared for in a safe and happy environment.
Emergency Relief
Assistance is available to Individuals and Families who find themselves in a crisis situ- ation. Food Vouchers, Accommodation Assistance, Petrol or Telephone Vouchers and EAPA (electricity & gas vouchers) and Woolworths Food rescue may be available after assessment.
Children and Parenting Service
Working to enhance the role of established Children’s Services and support families in Gundagai. This is a funded position through the “Stronger Families and Communities Strategy”.
These initiatives are; Collaboration with services and agencies, Supported playgroups, Parenting skill program, Transition to school.
Adult Education Services
Each Term the MIRRABOOKA services endeavour to offer several new courses or workshops to the residents of Gundagai. These courses could be general workshops or courses run by local tutors, the CTC or offered by other organisations.
Visiting Services
Gundagai Neighbourhood Centre plays as a second home to our visiting services, Summit, CVGT and Sureway to provide information on current job vacancies to all unemployed people who register with them. There is also a Human Services Agency within the centre.
